9 Ways to be Happy and Make Something of Your Life

Gordon B. Hinckley
1. Be Grateful:
Being grateful is to me how much you appreciate live and the things around you. Some people think there grateful but they don't appreciate there parents or there place where they live. there is a roof over your head some people don't have that. Even seeing you should be grateful for seeing or can see colors some people wish they can see colors. walk one mile in there shoes you would wish you could see or even with legs and arms so many things u can't do you have to learn your own way to move around and that takes years. hearing to, I have family that can't hear or speak that whole side of the family I can't talk to them cause we don't under stand each other. It i snot happy people who are thankful, people who are happy.

2. Be Smart:

Being smart is to know way is happening around you. Just because you are good in school doesn't mean you are smart some people dropout of school and became millionaires or even billionaires. They knew what to do with there time was gonna be and they succeeded with life. But being smart isn't all about money being smart is also knowing when to stop to get in arguments or a fight. Choosing your path can be smart or dumb smart is the way to go.
3. Be Involved in Good Works:
Be involved in good works mean to work fair with your peers. Helping people will make you feel great of your self. You help other good things can happen back to you. Go out the world and fine someone that needs help. What is the wrong thing of doing anything right. Confidants in what some people need or even think of how you want to live your life or even a better self esteem. People you help will be grateful forever.

4. Be Clean:
Being clean can be with your attitude, body, and or clean up places. Your attitude has to do with how you treat others, who you hang out with, or your neighborhood. Your body has to be clean to if you what to be happy or feel healthy. Body is important because you need to think and if you can't think you can't know what is right or wrong.
5. Be True:
To be true to your self  takes courage. you have to be open minded and fair to your own body.
6. Be Positive:
Being positive can sometimes be difficult but not impossible. If your positive life will be better

7. Be Humble:
8. Be Still:
9. Be Prayerful:
"There they are, nine be's which, if observed, will bring handsome dividends to any young man or woman. they will save you from heartache and pain. They will add sparkle to your days and peace to your night. They will save you from heartache and pain. They will bring purpose into your life and give direction to your energies.
They will bring you friends of your own kind. They will protect you from associations that would pull you down and deflect you from your course.
This is a time to be happy. This is a time to feel joy and make friends and enjoy the best this life has to offer. What I have tried to put forth .... are simply a few suggestions, gained from many years of living, to help you do just that. The world will tell that certain kinds of things will bring you happiness – things such as popularity and possessions and satisfying your baser desires.
If today you find yourself only drifting as a leaf in a stream, get hold of yourself and determine you will do better.
At railroad grade crossing, signs of warning were once common. Two cross arms were emblazoned with the words, “Stop, Look, Listen.” They meant that a train could be roaring down the tracks and you had better be alert.
I was riding a train in the Midwest years ago. I looked out the window to my left. A road ran parallel to the tracks. A car with a boy and a girl was speeding down the road a little faster than the train. The car moved ahead until I can no longer see it. Suddenly, the locomotive whistle sounded and the train screeched to a halt as the brakes gripped the wheels. We looked out the window on to the other side. There was a mangled car. Police cars soon converged, followed by the ambulance. The boy and girl were both dead. The road they were traveling crossed the tracks. They did not stop, look, or listen. It all happened in an instant.

The better way to Be is the way of these nine Be’s.

The years will inevitably pass, and pass quickly. Today is your day of resolution. Promise yourself to make something good of (your) precious life."
